The Nigerian Youth Investment Fund NYIF is a federal government programme initiated to boost the Nigerian economy through leverage and access to finance for the Nigerian youths. The NYIF programme aims to reach 500,000 Nigerian youths annually between 2020 and 2023. Each of the funds that will be approved will range from N250, 000 to N50, 000,000, with a spread across individual applications, group applications, working capital loans set at 1 year and long term loans set at 3 years with a single-digit interest rate of 5%.

There are currently various channels ready for disbursement, and they include Microfinance, finance firms and deposit money banks which will be regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria and assisted by the Bank of Industry.
