GEEP LOAN APPLICATION – The Federal Government of Nigeria has come up with another scheme called the Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) which happens to be Africa’s largest microcredit scheme. It’s one hundred percent (100%) a digitized free interest loan for Micro, Small and Medium businesses, traders, farmers, etc.
About Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP)
Nigerian currently has more than 78 million MSMEs, employing more than 60 million people and contributing approximately 85% of the total labour force in Nigeria. The statistics mentioned has been able to prove that Micro, Small and Medium businesses happen to be the bedrock of the Nigerian economy.
The Covid19 pandemic and the economic depression has ended up slowing down the activities of these MSMEs. In a bid to revive the economic sector of Nigeria, her government has decided to introduce a scheme called “GEEP LOAN” with the aim of accelerating the economic activities of the nation.
The Government Enterprise and Empowerment Programme (GEEP) offers money to three (3) sect of people in Nigeria.

GEEP LOAN APPLICATION: How Do I Apply For The Loan?
There are actually three (3) types of GEEP loans with a 0% interest rate. So, if you want to apply for any of the loans, find the category of the loan type you fall under and apply for it. Below are the three (3) GEEP Loan:
1). MARKET MONI: Market Moni Which is also known as MarketMoni is a 6-month interest-free loan for small business owners.
2). TRADE MONI: Also known as TraderMoni is the entry-level of the GEEP loan. It is also a 6-month interest-free loan for artisans and petty traders.
3). FARM MONI: Also known as FarmerMoni is a GEEP loan targeted at smallholder farmers in the agriculture sector. Unlike the above mentioned, the bandwidth of this loan is very big, and also it is a 6-9 months interest-free loan.
NOTE: Both the Market Moni, Farmer Moni, Trader Moni are all part of the schemes under the Government Social Intervention Programme which is being executed by the BoI (Bank of Industry).
